CloseStrangers. Strangers make many uncomfortable today, even many in the church. However, the theme of hospitality toward strangers runs throughout the Bible. Biblical hospitality is always oriented toward strangers instead of entertaining friends. Hospitality is an attribute of God. He structured the world and made provision in it before and in anticipation of His creating humanity. Before people existed, they were rich because God had created a home and acted with hospitality towards them.
