Job never lost his faith in God but trusted him in times of suffering and uncertainty. Even when we don’t know why we are suffering, we should trust God no matter what. Strive toward faith and not fear.

How does a follower of Jesus handle that gnawing unsettling feeling of disappointment? New toys, new jobs, new cars, new homes, and new clothes can make you feel better momentarily, but they lose their value quickly. “More” can rule our lives so that we are never content with the blessings of God. Contentment lets us see how God uses our disappointments, setbacks, and failures to lead us.
